184 years ago, on April 21st, Texas won it’s independence in 18 minutes at the Battle of San Jacinto. The Final battle of the Texas Revolution began with a barrage of fire from the Twin Sisters. These two cannons are considered “The Holy Grail” of Texas. They were sent from Cincinnati to help Texas secure freedom. They were named Eleanor and Elizabeth after Dr. Rice’s twin daughters. 184 years later to the day, Texas Cannon Brewing brought in our second brew system to be home with her sister. I think they shall be named Eleanor and Elizabeth?? They are our cannons to pursue entrepreneurial freedom here in the Texas hill country.
